LLM Inspector is a browser extension that helps you view and analyze your own LLM conversations directly in your browser.

What the extension accesses: The extension uses host permissions for chatgpt.com so it can read the content of the LLM conversation currently open in your browser tab. This is required in order to detect product mentions, highlight them on the page, and generate the structured JSON view (title, timestamps, conversation ID, and referenced URLs) that the extension displays to you.

What we do with that data: Nothing leaves your browser. All processing happens locally, in real time, on your own device. The extension does not transmit, sell, share, or store any conversation content, personal information, or usage data on any external server. We do not operate any backend, database, or analytics service that receives this data.

Data retention: Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to retain, and nothing for us to delete on request — the extension simply reads what’s already visible on your screen and discards it when you navigate away or close the tab.

Third parties: We do not share data with, or allow access by, any third party.
